Amazing ¡Olé! Review!!

¡Olé! (The show I choreographed) got an amazing review at the Rochester Fringe Festival! Click the link below and scroll down!

"...Sofia Lund took to the stage early to perform a captivating flamenco set that showcased the grace and power of the dance and music. Just lovely."

"The story in “Ole!” is engaging enough, but what really makes this show special is the way it is presented. This is smart theater. I loved the way the flamenco elements, the bullfighting, the sword play, etc. reflecting both Spanish culture and art were woven into the piece. The segment where Dali explains how to create a Surrealist image via flamenco dancing -- genius."

"This touring show by Theater in Asylum had one of the most alluring premises of all the 2013 Fringe shows, and I’m happy to say it lived up to expectations."

I am so excited to announce that I will be choreographing the tour of ¡Olè!- an original production by Theater in Asylum. I have worked with TIA since its origin (Nijinsky in Asylum and The Persistence of Annabelle Lee at New York Theatre Workshop) as an actor and am so excited to choreograph with them. This production will pull on all of my flamenco skills!

A HUGE thank you to the awesome folks from Mysteries at the Museum who recommended me for this!!! CINDERELLA Tour Update

We are officially more than halfway through the tour. It's been wonderful so far. I'm really enjoying playing Glynis- comedy, especially physical comedy, is just too much fun. The cast and crew are wonderful as well.

It also helps that WE GOT TO GO TO DISNEY WORLD AND UNIVERSAL STUDIOS!!!!

Ahem.

Check out the photo page in the next few days for some updates! You're not going to want to miss the hilarity of some of the pictures our SM took.
