URINETOWN at Strasberg

I am choreographing Urinetown at The Lee Strasberg Institute! We open on March 8th and are already totally sold out. This cast and team are awesome, so I'm very excited for this to open.

DIY NUTCRACKER

DIY Nutcracker (the production I directed and choreographed) performed at the end of December and was a huge success! The audience participated SO enthusiastically, the 50 piece orchestra sounded glorious, and the dancers told the story beautifully. This production was a dream- I hope we are able to bring it back next year for a longer run.

Some Act 1 audience participation:

- BRONTË- Theater in Asylum (the company I choreographed and toured ¡OLÈ! with) is creating a new musical based on the lives of the Brontë sisters and I was lucky enough to be in the first read through! Katie Palmer (book), Sarah Ziegler (book), and Lucas Syed (book and music) are the creators.

This concert features the music of Nick Luckenbaugh. I was in Nick's show ROYAL FABLES back in 2014, a workshop of his show AURORA at MTF, and his 54 Below concert last summer. I am so excited to get to work with him again!

At this concert, I'll be singing my song from ROYAL FABLES, "Up Here" (Rapunzel's song), and backup on 2 more songs (and reuniting with some of my ROYAL FABLES cast mates in the process!).

This concert is free, so I hope to see you there!

THE GOREE GIRLS

The reading of The Goree Girls went super well! It was so satisfying to be a part of this reading, since I've been a part of its workshops for the past few months. Here's the article and some pictures from the reading:
